Overview

Established in 2005, the faculty is a centre for ICT innovation and education. It currently hosts approximately 30 academic/technical staff and over 550 students across three departments. The faculty emphasises practical experience through industrial placements, field attachments, and research-based solutions to computing challenges in Tanzania.
Vision

To be a centre of excellence in ICT programmes by providing modern, relevant, and research-based solutions to computing and ICT problems in Tanzania by 2026.
Mission

To cultivate the next generation of leaders in computer science, software engineering, and information technology through quality demand-driven teaching and research.
