The programme, which commenced on 19 October 2026, aims to familiarise first-year students with the University's academic environment, regulations, facilities, and essential student support services.
As part of the ongoing orientation activities, students are receiving guidance on academic expectations, financial procedures, student welfare, discipline, and opportunities available throughout their university journey.
The programme also includes informative sessions facilitated by various government institutions, including the Tanzania Police Force, Fire and Rescue Force, Immigration Department, and Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB). These sessions focus on personal safety, gender-based violence prevention, road safety, cybersecurity, disaster preparedness, citizenship, immigration procedures, and corruption prevention.
Meanwhile, the University's registration and student support teams continue assisting newly admitted students to ensure a smooth and welcoming registration experience.
RUCU remains committed to providing a supportive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, discipline, integrity, and personal development.
All newly admitted students are encouraged to complete their registration procedures and actively participate in the ongoing orientation activities as they prepare for the commencement of academic activities.
